The Judge Hugh Means American Inn of Court is raising money for Douglas County CASA this year. We are hoping to raise enough money to be a sponsor for their upcoming Cornhole for CASA event.

What is Douglas County CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates)? This organization has been committed to caring for the most vulnerable children in our community since its founding in 1991. They do this by recruiting, training, and supporting trusted, caring adults who advocate for the best interests of children in our local child welfare system. These children have been removed from their homes due to abuse and neglect and live under court protection while they wait for safe, permanent homes.

Cornhole for CASA is a celebratory, family-friendly cornhole tournament and free-play event for all ages and abilities. Participants will be invited to join student-athletes on the KU Volleyball Team for some friendly competition, photo-ops, a kids-zone, and more, at Abe & Jakeʼs Landing.
