Chief Judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit Sri Srinivasan, who grew up in Lawrence, will discuss his career before joining the bench and his experiences since taking the bench. He will discuss matters including the jurisdiction of the United States Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit, procedural practices associated with appellate cases implicating matters of national security, and his views on the development and mentorship of young attorneys. Mr. Michael Zubrensky, general counsel for the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, will moderate, and will also discuss his work, recent developments, and expected trends in the areas of qualified immunity and voting rights.
